Alexa Ramirez
Therapy only works if it actually feels right, and finding the right fit can be the hardest part. I try to make that easy. You will know pretty quickly if this is a space where you can breathe out, be honest, and start doing real work. I am a bilingual Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas (English and Spanish). I work with teens, young adults, and adults on anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, identity and self-esteem, ADHD, burnout, career stress, and the kind of cultural stress that comes from living between worlds.
My style is warm, person-centered, and collaborative. We move at a sustainable pace, look honestly at the patterns underneath what you are bringing in, and build practical tools you can actually use between sessions.
I was born in Mexico and moved to Texas when I was young. I welcome clients from all backgrounds and bring particular fluency to first-gen, Latinx, and LGBTQ+ experiences, along with anyone who has ever felt not quite at home in other people's categories. If that sounds like what you are looking for, reach out.
