Ashea Acevedo

I am a person-centered Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) specializing in anxiety and depression. Working with young adults and adults, I help you navigate life's various challenges while meeting you where you’re at, which allows me to be a supportive and nonjudgmental partner in care. I look forward to supporting you as you work toward the goals you want to achieve together.

In our time together, you can expect a warm, understanding, and attentive environment, where I use an integrative and tailored approach along with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you overcome and navigate hardship. My approach is empathetic, culturally competent, and collaborative, as I’m passionate about helping you navigate life's challenges with support.

My path to becoming a therapist began with the passing of my mother during my early adolescence, alongside having a negative experience in therapy of my own. This time of my life deepened my commitment to providing empathetic and compassionate care, and it's part of what allows me to bring a unique perspective to each session.

In my free time, I love to travel and explore new places.
