Camille Armando, LMHC-D
Provider Types
This is a group practice with multiple providers, including:
- Licensed Mental Health Counselors
Mental health is all too often misunderstood and discriminated against. This stigma can distort our perceptions and deter us from our need for help, keeping us from a natural unfolding and realignment. Nevertheless, your mental health should be your priority. The thoughts and worries we all experience are our own personal truths, regardless of whether our situation conforms to others’ ideas of mental health. I feel that getting unstuck in life requires a perceptual shift, wherein we stop judging our ‘issues’ as failings but through self-compassion proceed to creatively light our path.
My approach offers an eclectic, client-centered approach with special consideration for holistic recovery, mindfulness, and mind-body wellness. I believe that through therapy, we can find inner peace, authentic happiness and ways in which we can present ourselves genuinely: as flawed people working to grow.
My priority is the relationship that I develop with each client and I am adamant that through this connection, an understanding of the underlying thoughts and feelings that drive behavior can flourish and then be utilized to begin and maintain desired changes. If we can accept our current state, then healing can occur and we can begin to move forward.
