Welcome! I specialize in working with anxiety, relationship concerns, and eating/body image issues.
College can be a whirlwind of new experiences, freedoms, and responsibilities. It's very common that in the overwhelm of managing it all, anxiety around life, relationships, and food becomes a way to cope. If you're struggling with this, you don't have to do it all alone-- finding a therapist you like and trust can change everything.
I am trained in somatic therapy, which means that I guide you to notice what's happening in your body, as a way to get beneath the conscious mind and anxious thoughts you may be familiar with. This helps to get in touch with what's really going on and find ways to approach things differently. Clients often say that somatic therapy promotes deeper change than other types of therapy they've tried before.
