Nicholas enjoys working with a variety of issues, including but not limited to anxiety, body dysmorphia, trauma and PTSD. Nicholas has experience working with young adults, adults, and with members of the LGBTQIA+ community. Nicholas works with clients to focus on the internal work, prompting change from within to effect how clients respond to stressors in their environment. We will work together to determine the root cause of the problem to establish a strong foundation to execute effective change. With a strong focus on coping skill development, Nicholas applies the fundamental and traditional practices of talk therapy, motivational discussion, in conjunction with acceptance and commitment therapy, as well as thought restructuring. If you are looking for a supportive, non-judgemental therapist to help you make the changes that are important to you, please reach out to Nicholas for support.
College can be an exciting yet challenging time, filled with transitions, academic pressures, and personal growth. Whether you're navigating stress, adjusting to campus life, managing anxiety, depression, or ADHD, I’m here to help. Together, we can create a supportive space where you can develop effective coping strategies, process your experiences, and build the skills needed to feel more balanced and in control. My goal is to help you feel empowered and equipped to manage life’s challenges with greater confidence and clarity.
I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with a M.S.W from University of California, Berkeley School of Social Work, and a BA from Connecticut College. I have a background working in various settings with children, young adults, and families in the child welfare system in CA, in various hospital social work settings here in Boston, and in college mental health. In my therapy work, I employ a strengths-based approach and work to help patients recognize and build upon their own existing strengths, supports, coping skills, and resilience in order to manage during challenging times. Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, cooking, and chasing after my dog. Pronouns: She, her, hers. I work especially well with individuals who are accessing therapy for the first time and need a safe space to learn about the process. I am certified in EMDR and can be helpful to those looking to explore past trauma and its impact on their current functioning.

I am currently accepting self-pay clients! During therapy sessions, I hold space for people facing all types of life experiences that encompass our collective human experience. Some key areas that I support individuals with are finding relief from anxiety through the cultivation of self-regulation and nervous system support, navigating major life transitions, healing from traumatic events, past or present, and exploring ways of living that are in alignment with one's true desires. I strive to help individuals build a relationship with themselves that are rooted in compassion and self-acceptance. As our imagination becomes activated and absorbed in the freedom of art and play, our linear or rational thinking processes of labeling and making judgments are temporarily suspended. This temporary suspension allows us to access our intuition (heart, center, wisdom, spirit, true self) and deepen awareness of our thoughts, feelings and experiences in life.
Do you need help making your self-care a priority so you can feel less overwhelmed and more in charge of your life? I help my clients to eat better, sleep better and feel better by making small habit shifts that lead to positive results in health, energy, focus, mood, and relationships. Working with me will feel more like coaching where you will get doable next steps to take rather than being analyzed by a silent therapist. Reach out to discuss your situation and see if we are the right fit to help you reach your goals.
Hello! My background is working with teens, adults, couples, and families. I specialize in depression, self-esteem, anxiety, as well as mood and personality disorders like bipolar and borderline personality disorders. Sessions lead with a person-centered approach and evidence-based practices. My style is warm and fun, partly so you can feel like you took a breath of fresh air, at the same time as reaching your goals. I value the importance of trust when working with my clients. Together, we will create an individualized plan where you approve each decision. The purpose would be to have clear goals, monitor progress, and efficiency. I recently started my own practice, after being an associate therapist for a group for 3+ years. My experience also includes working for Youth and Family Services, child protection, a homeless shelter, and inpatient care. Environments that emphasized the importance of providing compassionate and quality care, with confidence to handle any complex situation. Anyone who tries to make the commitment to start therapy deserves a lot of credit! In my experience, what sets apart a good from a great therapist is having an innate ability to empathize and listen. I make this standard. There is a special purpose in feeling seen. For more info schedule a free consult! I look forward to meeting!
Having worked in a variety of mental health settings and most particularly through my work at academic Boston-area hospitals, I have developed both an affection for and an expertise in working with people in their 20's. It is such a time of change, choices, transitions and adjustments. Finding a way to ground ourselves and connect with our own instincts can make all the difference in the journey through adult life.
I am a strengths-based therapist with an active, collaborative style, and a solution focus. I worked in college mental health centers for years before opening a private practice, and I enjoy working with adolescents, emerging adults, and young adults on the wide variety of issues that they present with. I am also a certified addictions counselor (CADC-II) and I often work with young people who are either questioning their alcohol and drug use, or who are trying to abstain from substances or other addictive behaviors. I have been practicing psychotherapy since 2003, and more recently earned my doctoral degree in counseling and sport psychology at Boston University, so I also commonly work with student-athletes and high-achieving clients.
I work exclusively with females in college with a specialization in anxiety, depression, adjustment to college and low self esteem. This is a safe space to process antisemitism on college campuses.
The students I connect with most are curious about themselves and want to understand not just what they feel, but why. Many seem capable on the outside but feel overwhelmed on the inside — struggling with anxiety, perfectionism, friendship or dating struggles, or a harsh inner critic. Some notice the same patterns repeating or feel unsure of who they are and what they want. If you’re ready to look a little deeper, we’ll likely be a good fit. I offer a steady, supportive space to explore the inner stuff you’ve been carrying around. I bring warmth, curiosity, and a sense of humor to our work, helping therapy feel human, relatable, and sometimes even a little fun. I use talk therapy as our foundation, and when it’s a good fit, I may also bring in EMDR, a well-researched approach that helps your brain process difficult experiences — whether from the past or present — so they feel less intense and less triggering. I also draw from practical skills, mindfulness, and self-exploration tools to help you feel more grounded, confident, and in control — ready to move through college with greater clarity, self-trust, and maybe even a few laughs along the way.

Margot brings a warm and interactive style to her psychotherapeutic practice, which can best be described as “eclectic,” as she believes that not one type of therapy is right for everyone. Pulling from psychodynamic (insight-oriented) psychotherapy, cognitive-behavioral techniques, mindfulness/meditation, and somatics (the integration of body/mind/spirit), Margot will tailor her practice to people’s individual needs depending on the particular issues they would like to address in therapy. Margot is committed to serving traditionally marginalized communities including people of color, queer and transgender/gender non-conforming people, poly and kink identified people, and people with disabilities. I believe that everyone has the strength and resilience already in themselves to overcome challenges, navigate difficult circumstances, and have meaningful connections with others. My approach to therapy is strength-based, holistic, and largely focuses on using mindfulness-based techniques and practices. In the last 14 years I have had the privilege to work with a wide variety of students from diverse backgrounds, cultures, identities, and lived experiences. I've had the privilege to work with first generation college students, international students, adult learners pursuing a second career, and younger students adjusting to independent life and college for the first time. In the past 4 years I have specialized in in working with college and graduate students pursuing advanced degrees in the health sciences field. I understand how challenging it can be to navigate these stressful times and how difficult it can be to find a balance between taking care of yourself and reaching your academic potential. It can get better and I'd like to help.
