Therapists for college students near Harvard University
You might be struggling to understand why you fall into the same damaging patterns in your relationships. Or why, no matter how much you want to, you just can't seem to let yourself be vulnerable with the people you love most. Or maybe you're facing questions about your path in life and trying to fit into a predetermined mold. I believe we shouldn't have to force ourselves to blend into one aspect of our identities. We deserve to embrace all parts of ourselves and create our own unique balance from our cultural, gender, emotional identities and more. Attachment theory, trauma informed interventions, and a personal and therapeutic perspective of multicultural identities are some of the things that allow me to support you in better understanding yourself and get answers to your biggest questions about you. All with the goal of feeling most aligned with who you truly are. Life today can fill our heads with so many complexities that we sometimes lack the capacity to figure all this out on our own. The therapeutic space we create can be dedicated to the personal challenges that have had to take a backseat. Those parts of you deserve the time.

I am passionate about supporting college students in managing experiences of anxiety, depression, identity development, ADHD/neurodivergence, self-esteem, body image, multicultural identity, relationship challenges, life transitions, and stress. I am deeply compassionate and supportive in my approach, dedicated to empowering and joining individuals in navigating their unique life experiences. Hi! My name is Alie Wulf and I’m a licensed psychologist who works with teens and young adults navigating anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD, and other challenges. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure where to begin, therapy can be a powerful step toward creating real change—and I'm here to support you in that process. I believe in creating a safe, non-judgmental space where you feel heard and understood. In our first few sessions, we'll gently explore what you’re hoping to get out of therapy, how I can support you, and start setting meaningful goals together. What makes my approach unique is that I don’t just listen—I actively offer tools and strategies from evidence-based approaches including CBT, ACT and ERP, to help you manage symptoms, build insight, and move toward the life you want. At the same time, I follow your lead and prioritize what feels most important to you. I’m deeply passionate about this work. I love hearing people’s stories and feel honored to walk alongside my clients as they grow, heal, and create lasting change.

I work with individuals with anxiety, depression, body image issues, self esteem issues, academic concerns and relationship issues and uses an individually tailored and collaborative approach. Outside of work, Julia enjoys running, yoga, and spending time with family, friends and her dog.
I work with adults throughout the life span who are processing life transitions, chronic illness, grief and loss, relational conflicts, trauma, and identity development. My approach seeks to understand together the "why?" behind symptoms and behaviors so you can feel less stuck and be able to show up in life the way you want to.

Hi! Welcome to my practice. My name is Wendy Emory, LICSW. You are welcome to look at my profile on Psychology Today. Many clients come to me as they're feeling stuck and something isn't working for them, or alternatively, they're experiencing anxiety and overwhelm, perhaps related to transitions or trauma. Either way, I work to help people access what already exists within them, and help them feel better. I'm certified in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, which is a body based oriented talk therapy used to help people heal from trauma and other relational injuries.
Hey Hey Hey! I’m Lenora Benson (She/Her/Hers), LICSW and I support black and ethnic minority women, in navigating the challenges and expectations imposed on them by the fallacy of the strong black women. I support all women in navigating the social expectations, stressors, and demands of being woman, as they intersect in all areas of racism, sexism, and patriarchism. I believe in the transformative power of therapy, because it has transformed me personally. As your therapist, I provide a safe, supportive, and judgement free space for you to explore your emotions, heal from past wounds, and journey from darkness to the light. My goals are to help those struggling with low self-esteem, people pleasing tendencies, and high-achieving perfectionism, dismantle the beliefs that keeps them stuck in patterns of behavior that leave them feeling like imposters; never good enough, never smart enough. Working with me will allow you to begin to make decisions for yourself that leave you feeling loved, worthy, and empowered.
I am passionate about supporting clients in overcoming the many challenges of life through a process of developing self-compassion, identifying and building on strengths, and learning new approaches to achieve a sense of well-being and peace. I have experience working with individuals dealing with challenges of anxiety, depression, self-esteem, life transitions, social and communication challenges, gender and sexual identity, polyamory, and neurodivergence. My work is fueled by my sincere belief that everyone is doing the best they can with the tools they've got. I use a collaborative approach that integrates a person's intrinsic wisdom and lived experience with my clinical background so that together we can come up with new ideas, perspectives, and strategies. I help my clients acquire skills in reading themselves and learning how to re-adjust if things stray off-course. I hope to help clients foster self-compassion and acceptance. It is an honor to bear witness to someone else's story. I use a gentle, direct, and nonjudgmental approach involving reflection, questions, and humor. I work to help clients gain new understanding of old narratives. This may involve goal-setting, exploration of personal values, or collaboration for accountability. I recognize and celebrate the diversity of human experience including gender expression and neurodiversity. It's important to me to help you move toward the life that feels most meaningful to you.
The best mental health care occurs when the patient's needs are prioritized and deeply integrated into the treatment plan. Whether you're dealing with anxious thoughts, phobias, learning difficulties, physical symptoms tied to mental health, depression, grief, or feeling like a dark cloud is always blocking out your light, help is available. By creating a judgment-free environment that fosters safe and open communication, we’ll work together to carefully assess your or your loved one’s unique situation and develop the most effective care plan. I believe the key to addressing many unwanted feelings and behaviors lies in combining holistic and pharmacological approaches, including modifying one's environment, engaging in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and using medications to address chemical imbalances in the brain. As your provider, I will work diligently to create a personalized medication plan that alleviates your challenges while minimizing tolerable side effects. Additionally, using evidence-based measurement tools, we can track treatment effectiveness and make necessary adjustments along the way. Helping you feel comfortable and seen is my priority. I believe that true growth cannot happen outside of a warm, safe relationship. There is so much happening for college students and having a judgement-free space to slow down, unpack thoughts/feelings and gain clarity/awareness can lead to immense empowerment and growth for young adults. I work at my client's pace and help them feel seen/validated in their experience while collaboratively addressing the difficulties together. Celebrating any feeling of success, no matter how small, is crucial! Therapy is not all about the hard things, but also about noticing the good when we can so easily be weighed down by the struggles. Thanks for considering me and I look forward to connecting with you!
