Her vast experience spans across multiple settings and states, with a significant emphasis on acute care, addressing the needs of people across different age groups and objectives. While Michelle is knowledgeable in a variety of therapeutic modalities, she believes that therapy is not a one-size-fits-all solution. Moreover, Michelle's strengths-based approach empowers clients, helping them harness their inherent potential and pave the way toward their goals. Michelle's commitment to inclusivity and individualized care is evident in her extensive training with reputable institutions such as the Transgender Training Institute, Open Sky, and MaMHCA. Beyond formal education, she constantly seeks out diverse resources to refine her expertise, ensuring her approach is both informed and empathetic. Hello! I am so happy you are here. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor working with adults who are struggling with a variety of mental disorders such as low self-esteem, anxiety, and depression. In session, we will work to identify and address any challenges you may be facing. We will also work to develop skills to manage your symptoms. I strive to create an emotionally safe space to support you in navigating through your challenges. My hope is to empower my clients to play an active role in their therapy experience. I completed my masters of arts at Assumption University. I utilize a variety of approaches when working with my clients such as CBT and mindfulness that are supportive, collaborative, and individualized. During therapy, my hope is to create a safe, non-judgemental, and supportive environment for you to explore your thoughts and feelings.
College is a challenge, on its own, in many ways. It can cause significant stress as well as trigger new or exacerbate existing mental health symptoms. Having space to work through the stress or symptoms you are experiencing can be incredibly beneficial (e.g. reduced stress, increased happiness, decrease in symptoms and/or severity, etc.), which can contribute to greater success and a greater overall experience during these years. I believe in creating a safe, supportive, nonjudgmental, and confidential therapy space that respects all identities and backgrounds where people can feel free to be their most authentic selves. I strive for people to feel comfortable in letting go of filters that tend to restrict them in honest disclosure and deep processing of their experiences. Thank you for taking the time to read about the practice and considering Sage Serenity Counseling. Please reach out if you have questions or would like to get started. I am ready to support you whenever you are ready!

Hi and welcome—I’m really glad you found your way here! College can be exciting, but it can also feel overwhelming—classes, relationships, family expectations, figuring out who you are, and making decisions about the future. It’s normal to feel stressed, stuck, or unsure at times. I work with students who are navigating anxiety, stress, self-esteem, identity, relationships, grief, trauma, and big life transitions. My style is collaborative and down-to-earth—I want our sessions to feel like a safe space where you can show up exactly as you are. My goal is to support you in making sense of what you’re going through, building tools that actually fit your life. Therapy doesn’t have to be heavy all the time—it can also be a space to reflect, grow, and discover new parts of yourself. If this feels like the kind of support you’re looking for, I’d love to connect!
Psychiatry and primary care stand at the heart of holistic healthcare, combining the expertise of mental and physical well-being to treat the whole person. By bridging the gap between emotional and physical care, psychiatry and primary care create a comprehensive approach, empowering individuals to lead healthier, more balanced lives. Together, they offer hope, healing, and the opportunity for every person to achieve their full potential, mentally and physically.
I help adults in all phases of life. I help my clients work through new and past traumas, and through typical or unexpected life transitions. In therapy we can make meaning, find purpose, or forge new paths. Many clients come for help managing symptoms of depression, anxiety, anger, or addictions. If you need help but don't know what questions to ask, that's okay! You don't have to know exactly what's wrong or what you want. Finding out is part of the process! Therapy can be to heal, recover, sort through, reconnect, rejuvenate, strengthen, or change aspects of your life to make it more manageable & meaningful. I primarily work with college-age students as they navigate this transitional time in their lives. I currently have early and late evening appointments as well as Saturdays 10-1.
