I work with people who are looking to embark on a process of intentional healing, self understanding, growth and actualization. I'm here to support you if you are struggling with anxiety, depression, identity issues, interpersonal challenges, difficulties with motivation and focus, healing of trauma, and/or wrestling with life's big questions. Therapy, to me, is a highly collaborative process. You are driving the bus and deciding where to go, and I am here to help you navigate through a process of deep listening, reflection, and psychoeducation. Sessions often focus on expressing emotions, needs, desires and boundaries effectively. We can also explore trauma healing, life goals, passions or spiritual beliefs. Examining communication skills and relationship dynamics helps to strengthen interpersonal connections. We can do talk therapy, or add in creativity, play, art making, music and/or movement! Please reach out if you think we would be a good match and we can discuss what it might look like to work together.

My goal as a therapist is to create a warm, welcoming, safe space where you can explore the areas in which you feel stuck, anxious or overwhelmed. Together, we can explore the thoughts, feelings and behaviors that serve you, as well as identify those that don’t. We can identify new options and help you make more empowered choices. Reaching out for help is a courageous act. I consider it an honor and a privilege to be your witness and to walk beside you as you begin your healing journey. When we feel safe enough to feel our feelings, we can begin to move through them, towards healing. I invite you to contact me for a free 15 minute consult to see if we are a good fit to work together.
Hi there — I'm glad you're here. I work with thoughtful, high-achieving students who seem like they have it all together on the outside but are quietly exhausted on the inside. You might be the friend everyone counts on, the one who never says “no,” even when you're running on empty. Maybe you’re stuck in a cycle of overthinking, overworking, and still feeling like it’s never enough. College life can feel like a nonstop pressure cooker — but it doesn’t have to be this hard. My approach is holistic, down-to-earth, and focused on helping you feel more like yourself again. I blend tools from CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and Somatic Therapy to help you better understand your stress, listen to your body’s cues, and build coping strategies that actually work for you. Let’s connect for a free consult and see if we’re a good fit. You don’t have to figure this all out alone.
Codi is a psychotherapist with experience working working adolescents and adults seeking support managing life changes. Codi practices from a relational, client centered approach. In addition to a B.A. in Feminist and Gender Studies from Colorado College, Codi holds a Masters of Social Work from Smith College School for Social Work. They come to APP with previous experience in access to higher education, direct service with incarcerated and formerly incarcerated people, and community mental health. Codi sees therapy as an opportunity for people to sit in the nuance of being human. They are eager to explore the space between therapist and client, centering my work in a psychodynamic approach. Their work is informed by a critical lens that helps clients examine systems and institutions of power and the roles those structure play in our suffering and healing. They are interested in creating a practice that can center the acknowledgment and influence of race, and other identities, in relationship. They hope to hold space for clients to explore, create and recreate themselves.

I have been in private practice since 1997. After graduating from the California School of Professional Psychology with a Ph.D in clinical psychology and U.C. Berkeley with an MPH, I practiced in California which included attending privileges at several hospitals. I moved back East in 2001, and have been in private practice since that time. In addition to my private practice, I provide consultation to the University of Massachusetts Medical School Department of Psychiatry medical students, residents and fellows. I see undergraduate students from MIT to Worcester State, as well as high school students. I can say with complete honesty that I love my work and feel blessed to be of service to those willing to share their lives and collaborate to find the life they need. People come to share their deepest hopes and their deepest pain. Together we make sense of life in a way that works for you. Sh

I work with Students at all leveles and my approach is both flexible and eclectic. I often use Brief Intermittent Therapy. I find that it works best for people to come in for a defined brief period of time (such as 6-8 weeks) and focus on one specific area that needs attention; the time in therapy is more concentrated and effective. When the need arises, I welcome clients back for a "tune up." My clinical work with students and families began in the early 1990’s. Much of my career has centered on helping kids in school settings. I also work with teachers and staff. I have successfully supported clients during times of crisis, transition, and struggle. I can help with anxiety, depression, peers, LGBTQ+ issues, and post-concussion support. I invite you to reach out and see if we would work well together. I am equally comfortable working via teletherapy or in-person therapy. My office is located in Harwich Center on Cape Cod. I'm happy to discuss what works best for you. Hi! My name is Katie Kalina, a licensed independent clinician with over 6 years of experience. I believe that everyone deserves to be heard and healed, and that as your therapist, it's my job to meet you exactly where you're at. One of my specialties is EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). This is a psychotherapy that enables people to heal from the symptoms and emotional distress that are the result of disturbing life experiences. Eye movement (or other bilateral stimulation) is used to work on one memory at a time for the mind to heal. I have worked with individuals and groups of all ages, from children to teens and adults through anxiety, depression, sexual abuse, emotional abuse, body image issues, relationship issues, and anger management. As your therapist, I will make it my mission to make you feel at home in our sessions. Once we meet, I will help you set goals and devise a plan that will make you transform in the ways that you wish to. Looking forward to completing this journey with you and bringing you ongoing success. When your car breaks down on the side of the road you don’t hesitate to call for assistance because you don’t wish to remain “stuck,” and the same logic can be said for the pursuit of therapy. Managing stress, overcoming the inevitable challenges life throws our way and building healthy relationships are valued skills that I feel passionately about supporting others in achieving. I hope to serve as a guide in uncovering the resiliency and confidence you already possess, to begin to live your fullest life.
