Parenting is one of the most meaningful things a person can do, and one of the most overwhelming. As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC), I work with children, adolescents, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, behavioral concerns, and mood disorders. As a mother of five, I know firsthand that raising children can be both deeply rewarding and incredibly hard. That lived experience shapes how I show up for the families I work with. You won't be handed a clinical framework; you'll be met with genuine empathy from someone who understands what it feels like to navigate difficult moments. I care deeply about the best interest of each child while also recognizing the important role parents play, which is why we work together on improving emotional well-being, building confidence, and empowering young people to thrive. I believe in the resilience of children and in the power of the parent-child relationship, and am here to help you strengthen both. I look forward to walking alongside you with empathy, respect, and understanding as your steady and supportive partner through even the most difficult moments. Every child deserves to feel understood, valued, and supported. That belief is at the heart of everything I do, and it's what drives me to show up fully for every patient and family I work with. Lasting change, in my experience, happens when families are treated as partners in care, which is why my approach is collaborative and family-centered by design. I use evidence-based medication management alongside supportive therapeutic techniques to help children and adolescents improve emotional regulation, reduce symptoms, and build resilience and confidence over time. Each patient is different, and I tailor my approach to fit the individual's needs, circumstances, and goals. Whether we're addressing anxiety, ADHD, mood instability, or behavioral concerns, the environment you'll find here is safe, nonjudgmental, and built on trust. My path to psychiatric mental health grew out of years of caring for patients and families as a registered nurse specializing in oncology medicine. In this work, I witnessed how deeply mental health impacts not only the individual but the entire family system. Becoming a mother of five made my calling even more personal. Watching my own children develop — navigating communication, resilience, and big emotions — gave me a new lens for understanding what families truly need. It reinforced my commitment to care that is grounded, evidence-based, and compassionate, with a strong focus on understanding the child’s needs and the parent’s experience. That combination of clinical foundation and lived family experience is what I bring into every session. You'll find someone who has both studied this work and lived it. Outside of my clinical work, I value spending time with my family and enjoying life outdoors. I love traveling with my family in our RV, camping, hiking, walking, and if I can ever find the time, riding horses. These experiences keep me grounded and reflect my belief in balance, connection, and the importance of mental wellness and everyday life.

I use my full experience from living in China, France, Japan, and the U.S., and from working in management consulting, nonprofits, and the arts in my work as a therapist. I am attuned to the mutual influence that individuals and groups have on one another and the interconnectedness in life's pain and healing. By working with a caring and attuned professional, my clients can feel safe and free to explore and work through their experiences of depression, anxiety, trauma, addictions, loneliness, shame, and anger, all the while developing their courage, resilience, understanding, and self-acceptance. Rebecca is a counseling intern who is passionate about creating a safe and supportive space for clients to explore their stories and identities. As an Asian American woman and adoptee, she understands how deeply identity, belonging, and cultural context shape people’s lives. Her own journey has given her both compassion and insight into the challenges of navigating transitions, healing from loss, and building a strong sense of self. These experiences guide the way she shows up as a therapist, with openness, authenticity, and respect for each individual’s unique story. She is particularly committed to working with clients exploring identity, cultural-related experiences, or significant life transitions. She also supports Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) individuals, holding space for the layered experiences of culture, family, and generational dynamics. Her goal is to create a space where clients feel comfortable being fully themselves, open, honest, and truly seen. Rebecca’s approach is compassionate and client-centered, drawing from person-centered, narrative, and mindfulness-based practices, as well as elements of cognitive behavioral therapy and multicultural frameworks. She believes therapy is not about “fixing” someone, but about helping clients reconnect with their voice, values, and inner resources. Together, she works with clients to explore what matters most and foster a deeper sense of clarity, confidence, and connection. You can self-schedule a free consultation at ccservices.janeapp.com.

Hello, I help people with gaining clarity and understanding of themselves, their future, purpose, and meaning. Additionally, I can be helpful dealing with challenges in the present that get in the way of getting where you want to go. Sometimes it can be difficult to connect with our brigheness or gold and it takes an exploration of what is dark or shadowy in our lives or in ourselves to get to a place where we can shine once again. I have experience with this as well. Please reach out to ask any questions or find out more about what I have to offer.
