I was born in the Pacific Northwest, and I grew up in Northern California. I earned my BA in Anthropology from San Diego State University and my MA in Counseling Psychology from University of San Francisco. When not working, I am usually spending time with my spouse and my three children. I enjoy reading, cooking, traveling, volunteering, and trying out new things and new experiences. I also love listening to music and singing. I utilize an integrative approach and combine different therapeutic tools to fit the needs of an individual client, family, or couple. I believe in meeting clients where they are comfortable and in using evidence-based practice in my work with clients. I work with individuals of all ages and strive to provide culturally competent therapy.
I offer a warm and non-judgemental space, integrating multiple therapeutic approaches including client-centered, cognitive behavioral and narrative therapy. I support clients managing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, life transitions, substance use and relationship issues. I have extensive experience helping young adults and university students navigate their experiences. I believe each of us has a capacity to grow and heal and that the therapeutic relationship provides a context for those processes. Hi, I've been in the field since 2001. I have a master's degree in Buddhist psychology and use mindfulness throughout my work. I have a passion for working with college students. I have specialized in ADHD, trauma, and substance use and work with identifying the underlying issues related to these conditions. Being a part of the LGBT community I have a passion for gender-affirming care and addressing relationship issues. I also have experience with eating disorders, fitness, nutrition, and health related issues.
My work integrates contemplative, relational, depth, mindfulness-based, and somatic (body-oriented) approaches to healing and growth. My practice is most influenced by Somatic Experiencing (SE), a naturalistic and interdisciplinary approach to healing I would be delighted to tell you more about. If you are looking for support in your healing journey, want to restore balance to your nervous system, emotions and relationships, and if a somatic approach is something you are curious about, I encourage you to jump onto my website, inner room (dot) net, and use my Online Booking system to schedule a free initial consultation.
Champion Family Therapy is a small, locally owned practice founded by Jessica Champion, LMFT in 2018. Prior to opening Champion Family Therapy, Jessica Champion had the vision for fifteen years of creating a mental health therapy practice that was family-centered. She saw the need for a clinic that would address the challenges of individuals, couples and families, by incorporating the many facets of recovery, including relational dynamics and core beliefs transferred through generations. From this vision, Champion Family Therapy was born. At Champion Family Therapy, we understand that most people seek therapy after unwelcome challenges in their lives. We are always moved by the desire for change and the risk it takes to make that call. It is our job to meet you where you are with competence and compassion.
Finding Balance and Support in College College can be exciting, but it can also be overwhelming. Between managing classes, relationships, future plans, and daily responsibilities, it’s easy to feel stressed, anxious, or emotionally drained. Maybe you’re struggling with focus, motivation, or perfectionism. Maybe you’re dealing with self-doubt, past experiences, or mental health challenges that make it hard to keep up. At Cura Meadows, I specialize in helping college students who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of their next steps. Many of my clients are thoughtful, ambitious individuals who want to do well but feel weighed down by stress, anxiety, depression, ADHD, or burnout. Some are navigating family expectations or healing from past trauma, while others just need support in managing the pressures of college life. I offer therapy and medication management in a space where you can process what you’re going through and find real solutions. Whether it’s learning new coping strategies, addressing underlying patterns, or exploring whether medication could help with focus, mood, or anxiety, our work is personalized to fit your needs. You don’t have to figure this all out on your own. If you’re looking for support that meets you where you are, I’d love to help.

Drew practices a variety of therapeutic modalities including mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, clinical heart centered hypnotherapy and gestalt expressive arts therapy. The therapeutic techniques that Drew uses are tailored to the needs of the individual with an emphasis on the healing power of the therapeutic relationship.

Any of us, from adults to very young children, can experience life challenges that require the caring support of other people. Sometimes we need help to navigate these challenges, and to heal, reorient, and move forward in our lives toward better health and wholeness. When the emotional support of friends and family is not enough, establishing a safe, collaborative relationship with a psychotherapist can be a valuable resource. I enjoy working with students who are ready to access support and guidance in order to address the social-emotional or mental health challenges that are holding them back; the changes and healing they are seeking in their relationships with parents, other family members, friends and/or partners; and clarification of needs, wants and life goals.

From the outside, it may look like you have everything under control. You're responsible, capable, and driven. But beneath the accomplishments, your mind rarely slows down. You're constantly thinking about what's next, replaying conversations, second-guessing decisions, or feeling guilty when you try to rest. I specialize in working with driven young adults and professionals struggling with chronic anxiety, perfectionism, and self-imposed pressure. Many of my clients feel exhausted by overthinking, overwhelmed by expectations, and frustrated that success hasn't brought the peace or confidence they hoped for. Together, we'll work to quiet the constant mental noise, build self-trust, and create a healthier relationship with stress and achievement. Therapy is about helping you understand what's keeping you stuck and developing practical tools to move forward with greater clarity and confidence. My approach is collaborative, down-to-earth, and LGBTQ+ affirming. Many clients begin therapy feeling overwhelmed by pressure and responsibility. Over time, they often find themselves carrying less emotional weight, responding to challenges with greater confidence, and creating a life that feels as good on the inside as it looks on the outside. If you're ready to stop carrying it all alone, I'd be honored to connect.
