My goal is to guide you in understanding what interferes with living a fulfilling life. I believe change is possible, no matter the circumstance, and I will support you through your journey of growth and self-discovery. As a therapist with extensive background working with trauma survivors and individuals of all ages, couples and families in crisis, I respect and understand both the challenges and lifelong benefits of having therapeutic alliance. My experience with the healing process has solidified the importance of consistent, genuine care, creating a space to pursue what it is you desire and find to be meaningful. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Life Coach, my approach is primarily relational, focused on the cultural considerations of an individual. I use theoretical practices such as behavioral, cognitive behavioral, mindfulness, psychodynamic, strengths-based with a trauma and attachment lens. Additionally, I am specialized in sexual trauma and utilize techniques to help alleviate symptoms of PTSD, anxiety and depression, build skills to regulate emotions and transform unhealthy behaviors. I am a Psychodynamic Couple and Family Institute of New England trainee.

Just about everything in life ebbs and flows which at times can leave you feeling exhausted, overwhelmed and defeated. It is important to remember that although life may feel heavy at this moment, it does get better and you don’t have to feel ashamed of your emotions. You are entitled to recognize and accept the individual that you are right now, while also feeling inspired and motivated by the individual you envision yourself to be in the future. As a clinician, I will meet you where you are, and help you build the self-determination to seek out what may be weighing on your heart. Release what no longer serves you and feel empowered to step into your truth. Much of my career has been trauma-focused, working with adolescents and young adults, to help build self-awareness and understand the mind, body connection. I also work with those struggling with racial, multicultural, and gender identity concerns, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem/image, emotional distress, and family/relationship dynamics. My goal is not to place you in a box, but to use multiple treatment modalities that are tailored to your individual needs including: trauma-focused, psychoanalysis, solution-focused, CBT, and mindfulness practices. My approach to therapy is holistic, strengths-based, relatable and honest, with a sprinkle of humor to brighten your day! If you are ready and willing to give yourself the grace to be unapologetically you, then I am here as your teammate to cheer you on through this journey. I will always honor the person that you are today, as you work towards becoming the person you strive to be tomorrow. *waitlist only at this time*

Emotions are normal, even hard to handle ones. Struggling is normal; it’s all part of the human experience. I’m here to teach you and empower you to manage and cope with strong emotions, stressors, and hardships. Through our time together, you will learn about the mind and how it connects with the body, and how to apply this knowledge to feel better. I specialize in treating trauma, depression, anxiety, dual diagnosis involving addiction and mental illness, positive psychology, and holistic healing. The mind is a powerful tool. With specific therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy, (changing one’s thoughts to then change one’s emotions and behaviors), we can restructure our brain to operate in a more optimal manner, resulting in less stress, anxiety and depression symptoms, and more meaning, joy and fulfillment. With my therapeutic expertise, concrete tools, empathy, and compassion, I will guide you towards the best version of yourself who is better equipped to handle life’s stressors and make positive changes.
