I recognize that life can bring periods of feeling stuck, disconnected, or caught in patterns of avoidance, anxiety, and discontentment. In response, I offer a trauma-informed, intermodal framework that incorporates creative and expressive arts therapies alongside evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), somatic techniques, neuroscience, and nutrition-based insights—tailored to each client’s unique needs and interests. The LGBTQ+ population from youth to adults navigate the challenges of being ones-self and accessing safe housing, affirming healthcare, integrating into social circles of family and friends, feeling safe to exist in all spaces they enter, challenging the expectations to be the educator of their identities, and even policing themselves for their own safety and other people’s comfort. I will provide a safe space for folks to show up as themselves, identify concretely their goals and aspirations, consider how they can dictate their environment to become their sanctuary, and take small steps towards becoming their most authentic self. I want to support my fellow LGBTQAI+ folks of all varying intersecting identities. I aim to use a strength-based integrative approach including aspects of Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioral, Narrative, and Mindfulness-Based interventions to individualize your sessions, externalize your challenges, and help you see your circumstances in different ways. As your therapist, I will allow space for you to elicit exactly what you’re experiencing and what you hope for during therapy and beyond. I want you to leave sessions feeling empowered to continue to invest in yourself, know you have the ability to move beyond your limits, and feel and see that change is possible. I'm ready to be on this journey with you.

This is exciting! Let me tell you more about me to help you with your decision making process. I am a Licensed Psychologist in NYC, but some people think of me as a problem solving pro, empowerment guru, and self-compassion guide! I partner with my patients to find pathways to a better life. I work best with people who are tired of being stuck and ready to make changes. I can’t change you. Only you can do that, but I’m super excited to be your side kick on the journey and help you highlight roads to success. One of the most important things to know about me is that I am NOT a smile and nod type of therapist. I get down in the trenches with you. I’m down to earth and real with you through this process which means I will call you out on your BS and help you figure out what to do with it. We will work hard and laugh a lot. For the record, there is nothing off limits or shameful in therapy. I’ve seen it all and heard it all. If you need to talk about sex, money, medical issues, or “that one time in Amsterdam,” don’t hesitate! I work with people of all backgrounds (race, gender, sexuality, religion, alternative relationships) and you should expect that I will affirm your identity while helping you to develop a fuller self concept. My job is to help you tap into strengths you already possess (we all have them even if we can’t see them yet) and create new ones! If you are struggling with depression, anxiety, feel constantly overwhelmed by your emotions, past traumas, poor relationships, low self esteem, or just deciding what the next step is in your career/life, I can help.

I'm a licensed clinical psychologist based in Brooklyn, New York, specializing in adult and adolescent individual psychotherapy as well as couples therapy. My areas of specialty include depression, anxiety, eating disorders, and cultural adjustment. I practice psychodynamic psychotherapy and integrate cognitive behavioral, dialectical behavioral, and mindfulness techniques. I also practice the Gottman Method and attachment-based couples counseling.
I am a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in evidence-based treatment for anxiety, OCD-related concerns, phobias, and sleep difficulties Over the past several years, I have noticed that many college students struggle academically due to undiagnosed ADHD, executive functioning challenges, and attention-related concerns that may go overlooked. In response to this need, I have added comprehensive and affordable ADHD diagnostic testing to my practice to help students better understand their difficulties, access appropriate treatment recommendations, and obtain accommodations when clinically indicated for academic settings and standardized testing. In addition to ADHD testing, I frequently work with students experiencing anxiety, obsessive thinking, perfectionism, panic, OCD symptoms, sleep disruption, and stress related to academic performance and life transitions.
