To learn more about our practice and approach please visit our website. You can also call or book a consultation directly and request to work with me. I work with children, adolescents, young adults, and families. I specialize in trauma, crises, and adjustment. I meet you where you are at, so that we can take the journey together. Using emotion-focused therapy, I want to validate you first, and then focus on the challenges. The story is not always the most important part, in order to feel better emotions first have to be understood. Once we understand the emotions, we work together to create positive differences. I am not in your shoes, however I would like to make the walk more comfortable.

I view therapy as the process of developing a better understanding of thoughts, emotions and patterns. I utilize a person-centered therapy approach to create a warm, non-judgmental atmosphere where you can feel comfortable and safe. Through the journey of self-discovery, your needs and wants from the therapy process may change. This is why I pull from different evidence-based therapy approaches such as CBT and positive psychology to best fit with your needs at the time. I have experience working with a variety of mental health concerns. However, no two people are the same. Together we will work towards your unique goals utilizing the individual strengths you bring. Deciding to begin therapy can be scary. I will help to illuminate the process and ease your concerns. I am currently accepting new clients. I look forward to hearing from you and starting this journey together.
Imagine actually ENJOYING therapy. Imagine looking forward to therapy each week because your therapist "gets" you and works with you in a down-to-earth way to address your goals. Since therapy is an intense process that tackles intense issues, we believe it should also include authenticity (on our part), humor, and flexibility. We love working with college students and are energetic, creative, and hands-on. We'll work together to design a personalized approach to address your specific goals. Our therapists specialize in a range of issues, including depression, anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, LGBTQ+ identities, and health challenges.
I believe in the transformative potential of virtual reality and technology as a tool for mental health and personal growth. By harnessing the power of technology, I aim to help you break down barriers to accessing therapy, provide a flexible and convenient treatment option, and revolutionize the way you engage in your therapeutic journey. I invite you to embark on this exciting and transformative experience with me, where the virtual realm becomes a gateway to healing, resilience, and self-discovery.
You are not broken — you are human. And being human means facing change, pressure, and uncertainty — things that can feel especially heavy during college. Maybe you’re feeling overwhelmed, questioning who you are or what’s next, or trying to balance school, family, and your own expectations. You don’t have to figure it out alone. Therapy can be a space to pause, reflect, and begin again — with support and intention. In our sessions, you’ll find a warm, understanding space where you can show up just as you are — no need to have it all together. My role isn’t to fix you, but to walk beside you. Together, we’ll explore what’s been weighing on you, reconnect you with your strengths, and find new ways forward that feel true to who you are. Every student’s story is different. That’s why I don’t believe in one “right” way to do therapy. Our work will be shaped by your needs, your culture, and your goals. Whether you’re coping with stress, adjusting to college life, dealing with family or relationship challenges, or trying to rediscover your sense of purpose, we’ll move at your pace. A big part of our work will be exploring three things: WHY – Why are you seeking change? PURPOSE – What gives your life meaning? PRIORITIES – What matters most to you right now? When we understand your why, purpose, and priorities, therapy becomes more than just talking — it becomes growth. Wherever you are in your process, you don’t have to walk it alone. I’m here to meet you where you are and support you as you find your way forward.

Are you working through trauma or a difficult life transition? Are you in relationship with a toxic or narcissistic person? Are you facing painful loss? Do you want to use principles of spirituality to strengthen you and answer life's deepest questions? Do you suffer from DID or dissociative disorder? For 30 years, I have guided people toward authentic ways of living and relating. Through many types of treatment, I help people to understand how traumatic life events change us and how to transform thoughts, feelings, and relationships. We focus on real actions you can take to find the power to reverse the effects of pain and trauma. I was educated at Cornell University and the University of Denver's School of Professional Psychology. I interned at the Albert Einstein Medical School and earned a post-doctoral fellowship at the world-renowned Menninger School of Psychiatry. I have highly specialized training in trauma, dissociative disorders and DID, spirituality, and toxic relationships. Many therapists look only at the surface. Instead, I will work deeply with you to see what and who causes you anxiety and depression, grief, sadness, emptiness and fear. We will take a thorough look back to see what and who has made an impact on you, positively and negatively. We will focus on actions to create a way to go forward with success and happiness.
To be seen and known by others is an incredible feeling of connection but it means being authentic and vulnerable. Sadly, we live in a time with the illusion of connection while being more disconnected than ever. You may feel disconnected from others and even from yourself. Though you are a gift to this world, it is often blocked and unexpressed. This may leave you feeling alone and invisible. The truth is, you may be starving for deeper connection and that starvation looks like depression, anxiety, stress, and more. When you are living disconnected, you are abandoning yourself. Thankfully, you have a beautiful inner voice. I help you redefine your view of barriers (I call it protection), frustration around recurring struggles, failures, shame+fears through a lens of compassion, curiosity, and courage. My working style is non-judgmental, and I endeavor to bring curiosity, humor, empathy, patience, and respect to our relationship. I warmly invite you to reach out by phone or email through my website and schedule a free initial consultation to explore how we might work together to help you live a life of purpose and connection with self and others

Hello! I’m a therapist who believes that real healing happens through self-compassion, mindfulness, and meaningful connection. If you’re feeling stuck in the same old patterns—overthinking, people-pleasing, shutting down emotionally—I’m here to help you shift that. A big part of my work is helping people feel their feelings in a real, embodied way. We’ll slow down, tune into your body, and start to notice what’s actually going on underneath the surface. I use somatic tools to help you reconnect with yourself and move through emotional blocks—not just talk about them. At the same time, I’ll support you in building practical skills that make daily life feel more manageable and empowering. I always keep a trauma-informed lens and acknowledge how systems of oppression and past experiences impact your nervous system, relationships, and sense of self. Therapy with me is about creating space for change while being kind to yourself along the way. You don’t have to figure it all out alone.

Life can feel overwhelming when you're carrying the weight of your personal identity, family expectations, or the impacts of generational trauma. You may find yourself caught between who you are and who others expect you to be, leading to feelings of stress, self-doubt, or disconnection. Many of my clients seek a space where all parts of their identity are seen and affirmed, while also working through challenges like anxiety, depression, family of origin issues, or difficult life transitions. Together, we focus on healing, resilience, and building a stronger sense of self. I provide a supportive, collaborative space grounded in trauma-informed and culturally responsive care. Drawing from relational, strengths-based, and evidence-based approaches like CBT, DBT, and mindfulness, I help clients explore challenges, build resilience, and create change that feels authentic to who they are. I know it takes courage to seek support, and it's important to find someone who truly understands and respects you. My goal is to provide a safe and compassionate environment where you can feel seen, valued, and empowered to move forward in ways that feel right for you. I have been in practice for over 30 years. My practice specializes in anxiety, panic attacks, agoraphobia, phobias, and "life issues." I see college students dealing with stress and anxiety relating to college, career decisions, relationship issues. Also see people who are struggling with bereavement, adoption issues. I work with people of different ages/stages: Young adults, mid-life and senior citizens. When dealing with life issues and anxiety I use Cognitive/Behavioral therapy techniques as well as psychodynamic techniques. When dealing with phobias, I believe in helping patients learn techniques to help relieve some of their anxiety symptoms and then working on their thoughts/cognitions which effect how they talk to themselves. My philosophy is : Life is to be enjoyed, not endured. Isn't it time you started enjoying yours.
